Integrative work at the intersection of nervous system regulation, psychology, female biology and nourishment
For athletes, founders, professionals and practitioners ready to stop overriding their female body and start building from it.
I help you move into a way of living that actually supports your energy, recovery, health & vitality as a woman. Not through more discipline, but by working with your female body’s capacity for stress, recovery, and performance.
A female-specific approach to performance, health, and recovery — working with your body, your patterns, and your psychology, so you can make sustainable changes, & lead and build without depletion.
Most successful, intelligent, high-achieving women are living inside this pattern, and it plays out across their relationship to food, movement, work, and their bodies, without their realising it.
These aren’t seperate things to fix. They are expressions of a one pattern. One that is rooted in the nervous system.
Who This Work Is For…
You are a female athlete or former athlete still training daily — running, lifting, pushing — because that's who you are and always have been. Your performance and or energy is plateauing despite the consistency. Your hormones are louder than they used to be, your cycle more painful or irregular, your relationship with food complicated in ways you don't fully talk about. You eat around training, earn your meals, manage your body rather than live inside it. You suspect the missing piece isn't more discipline. You're right.
You are a professional (former straight-A student) who wakes up already with a sense of feeling behind. You reach for coffee before breakfast, are back-to-back from 9 am, and say yes to more when your plate is already full. By evening, you're at the fridge at 10 pm, reaching for something you can't quite name. By morning, you're at Barry's or SoulCycle at 6 am because you think you should — or to work off the night before. Your body has been speaking to you, through IBS or digestive issues that flare under pressure, PMOS markers showing up on tests, recurring fatigue, and the voice telling you you're not doing enough, humming underneath even on the good days. There is a feeling of holding everything together on the outside; people around you would say you’ve got it altogether but meanwhile inside, you are running on empty underneath.
You are a founder or entrepreneur who loves what you're building but can't separate your worth from your output. You launch, crash, disappear, begin again and make decisions from urgency, taking clients you don't want, pricing from scarcity. Your body is quietly protesting a business built on the same cortisol pattern you've been running since university. No amount of overworking, overexercising or income number will give you that internal sense of steadiness you are quietly longing for.
You are a health practitioner, coach or wellness enthusiast who knows all of this in theory. You go on the yoga retreats. You have the morning routine. You eat clean, take the supplements, and recommend the protocols. And underneath it you're still sourcing your sense of self from external structures — the next class, the next retreat, the next modality. And you still feel exhausted, still hormonally disrupted. Still giving from a cup that is never quite full. Wellness culture gave you better tools for the same underlying pattern. It didn't give you a different foundation.
Many of my clients are very capable, with full lives, they come to me still achieving, still getting things done, still showing up— but beginning to sense something isn't adding up, and a knowing there is a better way to move from. The other half of clients have been through the energy/health crash, done some of their own discovery work, and are ready to build from genuinely different ground, needing a more personalised, integrative container to do so.
Either way — you're in the right place.
What most approaches miss…
By the time women find this work, they’ve usually already tried a lot. They’ve read the books, listened to the podcasts, followed the advice from wellness people online. Some have worked with practitioners, looked into hormones, digestion, energy, got tests, supplements, plans. They’ve made changes. Tried to get it right.
And often, some of it helps. For a while. But it doesn’t fully last. Because most approaches are working at the level of what you’re doing— your food, your habits, your routines, your symptoms.
And while those things matter, they’re not where this pattern is coming from.
What’s sitting underneath all of it is a nervous system that has learned to operate in a certain way. A system that has adapted to pressure, stress, and demand
by pushing, overriding, staying switched on, and then compensating when it can’t anymore.
So the issue isn’t a lack of discipline, knowledge, or consistency. It’s that your body is still operating from a state that creates the pattern in the first place.
And from that state, everything else is shaped.
Your thoughts. Your emotions. Your energy. Your capacity. Your behaviour. Your relationship with food, with rest, with your body.
This is why so much of what we’re told is “mindset” or “mental” only goes so far. Because your ability to follow through, feel consistent, or even know what you need
is physiological first.
And unless that changes, you’ll keep finding yourself back in the same patterns, symptoms & behaviours, no matter how much you know or how much you try.
For women, this matters even more, because your body is not designed to operate in a constant, linear way like men. So when the nervous system is in this pattern and dysregulated, it doesn’t just affect how you feel. It affects how your entire body functions.
How I work
We don’t start by fixing everything you think is wrong
or by adding more on top of what you’re already doing.
We start by changing the state your body is operating from.
Because when your nervous system begins to settle, your energy becomes more consistent, your thinking becomes clearer, and your body can actually support the level you’re operating at.
From there, we rewire old patterns and rebuild your relationship with food, movement, rest, and your body, in a way that allows you to perform, live, and lead without that constant underlying strain.
Not through more discipline, but by working with your physiology, your nervous system, and your female body, providing it the nourishment and support it needs, in a way that actually holds.
So the way you show up in your life, is no longer coming from pressure or push, but from something far more stable, precise, and sustainable.
My Process
Regulate The System
We start with the foundation- the nervous system. Together we support your body to come out of constant activation so it can actually properly recover, restore, and build capacity to make sustainable changes and ultimately perform without relying on stress or adrenaline.
Rebuild From The Body
We restore your connection to your body’s signals—hunger, energy, emotions, and your cycle—so you can respond appropriately to your female body’s needs, instead of overriding them; and your energy becomes stable without constant management.
Reshape Patterns
We work with the underlying behavioural, emotional, and nervous system patterns—so perfectionism, pressure, and underlying external masculine conditioning no longer drive how you live , nourish and work.
Reset Your Baseline
Here, how you feel, move, and live no longer comes from override—but from a regulated, resourced system that can actually sustain it. Symptoms continue dissapating, and everything in your daily life begins to reflect what you actually desire and what your body can actually hold—not just what you’ve been told or used to pushing through.
Meet Helena
I’m a female health + performance specialist, somatic coach + nutritionist working at the level of physiology, behaviour, and identity. My work is shaped by both professional training — and lived experience.
I was a professional athlete from a young age, where I learned early how to push through, perform, and override my body in the name of results.
That pattern followed me even off the tennis court and into my work and career in health as a nutritionist, and into the way I lived. I was often doing everything we as women are told is “right” in terms of well-being and how to succeed, building businesses, leading retreats, while quietly running on empty. Burnout wasn’t something that happened to me overnight; it was the result of years of listening to external masculine messaging rather than my own internal compass and ignoring what my female body was asking for.
That experience changed how I see health entirely.
I began to understand that symptoms aren’t individual or something to fix — they’re communication.
And that more masculine approaches, more discipline, more rules, and more routines are often part of the problem.
Alongside my degree in psychology, training in yoga and a Master’s in Clinical Nutrition, I went on to train in women’s health, the biology of stress, the vital role of the nervous system , and neuroscience-backed somatic approaches —including a neurophysiological approach to human performance and recovery.
Now, my work brings these pieces together in a way most approaches don’t.
An approach rooted in nourishment for the female body — not just through food, or habits,
but in how you live, how you relate to yourself, and how your body responds to stress, load, and recovery.
This is the work of becoming a truly nourished woman.
Not through pressure or perfection — but through creating the conditions for your body to feel safe and nourished enough to perform, recover, and thrive.

Not at all. I work with women at different stages. Some come to improve their health — energy, hormones, symptoms, relationship with food and body — using my female-specific and somatic approach. Some are ready to perform, build and live differently — athletes wanting to work with their female biology rather than against it, founders wanting to build from capacity rather than cortisol, professionals wanting to lead from steadiness rather than urgency. And some are navigating a transition or period of reflection, expanding into new ways of being. I also mentor health practitioners and coaches who want to integrate this methodology into their own practice. What they share is that somatic work is woven throughout — and a genuine desire to understand and work with their female body rather than override it, so they can truly thrive.

Most practitioners work at the level of food, habits or symptoms in isolation. My work integrates four things simultaneously — nervous system regulation, female biology alignment, somatic psychology and nourishment as relationship. The foundation is always the stress physiology first, because nothing shifts sustainably without it. My work is also specifically designed for the female body and female nervous system, not adapted from male-default health and performance models. It's clinical, somatic and deeply personal — and it goes far beyond symptom management into how you perform, build and live.

It depends on where you're starting from and what you're working toward. Most women notice shifts in energy, sleep, anxiety, their relationship with food /movement within the first six to eight weeks — not because the work is quick but because the nervous system responds relatively quickly when it's genuinely supported rather than managed. Deeper shifts — hormonal regulation, body composition, patterns around worth and giving and receiving, how you build and make decisions — these take longer.
Six months is the minimum container for good reason. This is not a protocol with a fixed outcome at a fixed date. It's a genuine rewiring. The women who go furthest are the ones who come with curiosity rather than a deadline.
